1. Does the training provide equal opportunity to the students from all the streams?
Answer : Yes, the training will provide equal growth path for all the qualified candidates. After posting, depending upon your talent and skill you may get preference in some specific area. The eligibility criteria is: Diploma / Degree in engineering such as Electronics, Telecommunication, IT and Computers.
2. What is the duration of the training?
Answer : It varies from 150 hours to 175 hours depending on the training.
3. How will be the Training delivery?
Answer : The training delivery will be through experienced and certified faculties in a class room environment through audio visual aids (PC, LCD projectors etc). Students will be taken to “SimTech Live Telecom Site” for practical.
4. Will there be job guarantee for the certified trainings?
Answer : We provide 100% Job assistance to the SimTech Certified Engineers.
5. In which company will I be placed ?
Answer : You can get jobs in Wireless telecom service provider companies like - Reliance, TATA, Airtel etc, Wireless Infrastructure Solution providers like GTL,TVS, ICS etc, Network and Mobile Handset vendors like Nokia, Motorola, Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent, Huwaei etc, Telecom Software companies like Sasken, Subex, Wipro, Satyam, TCS, Infosys and many more.
6. What is the salary expected in my first job provided by SIMTECH?
Answer : Based on your qualification, performance in interview and the organization, initially, you may get a salary package of Rs.72000/- to Rs. 2.4 lakhs per annum. However after one year of experience, students can expect a substantial improvement in their salary packages.
7. What will be my position or designation on my posting?
Answer : The position / designation may vary from employer to employer. Most employers designate the posts as Telecom Engineer/Field Engineer/BTS Engineer/ RF Engineer / BTS Site in-charge etc.
8. When will I be sent for the interview after the training?
Answer : Once you complete the training,interview process will start. However, you will get the opportunity to attend mock interviews during training period.
9. Are the students who are still studying eligible to take-up this training?
Answer : Yes. We have early morning and late evening batches to provide training for the students who are still studying.
10. What kind of work will I do after getting the job?
Answer : After the training, one might work in Wireless network planning, Network operation and Maintenance, Installation and Commissioning, Microwave planner etc.
11. Can I take up the training during weekend?
Answer : Yes. we have weekend batches running for the working executives. This will help them to switch their career to wireless industry or improve their knowledge on the subject.
12. Will I get pratical knowledge?
Answer : Yes, we have lab in our training facility for almost all the trainings we offer. For wireless technology training, we are working with companies to get field exposure.
13. Are there any exams during my training program? Who will be the examining body?
Answer : During the training program you need to appear for internal tests conducted by the SimTech administration and the Final exam will be conducted centrally by the Exam Cell of SIMTECH.
14. What is the award after the exam?
Answer : On successful completion of the training you will be awarded the “SIMTECH Certified RF Engineer (SCRFE)” by the SIMTECH Academic Council.
15. What is the fees for SCRFE programme?
Answer : The training fees is Rs. 22,500/- including service tax.
16. What is the Mode of payment of fees?
Answer : You can make the payment by Cheque / DD / Cash at your preferred centre.
17. Is there any refund policy?
Answer : Fees once paid will not be refunded.
